For dogs under 6 months of age.

  • 6 Weekly 45 Minute Sessions (must attend all 6 sessions to receive STAR Puppy Award)

  • $225 (cost includes AKC STAR Puppy Test Submission)

Intro to AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC)

For Dogs Over 1 Year of Age

  • 3 weekly sessions held at Dog Days Dubuque and/or in DBQ Community

  • Learn About the AKC Canine Good Citizen Program & Practice 10 CGC Test Items

  • Good for dogs with previous basic obedience training

  • Relationship Building + Distraction Work

  • $125 for 3 Session Course

  • Option to Test your dog at a separate testing date upon completion of the course.

AKC FIT DOG

Level 1,2, & 3 Course

The AKC FIT Dog course encourages dog owners to engage in fitness related activities with their dogs. They will be exposed to a variety of exercise types including cardio, flexibility, balance, and strength training. The class is not only great for your dog’s body, but also their mind as learning new skills works their brain and will build their confidence. A fun training class is also a great way to spend time with your dog and strengthen your bond with them.

  • Class will be 6 weekly sessions with a test at the end of class 6

  • Equipment required (ACCESSORIES SOLD SEPARATELY):

    • 1-2 Klimbs depending on dog’s size

    • Traction Mat

    • Balance Pad

    • Rubber Bin

**Dogs and owners participating in this course must understand the training game and have basic obedience skills and be able to handle being in a group class with other people and dogs.**
